Vancouver International Airport (YVR)

Vancouver International Airport (YVR) is a barrier-free North American airport that handles non-stop international flights daily to and from Europe, Asia, Oceania, the United States, and Mexico, and national flights within Canada. For travelers from the United States, YVR is one of eight Canadian airports that have U.S. Border Preclearance facilities. YVR operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Shuttle:

Guests have access to a complimentary 24 hour shuttle to and from the property and the Vancouver International Airport.

Taxi Services:

Taxis to the Executive Hotel Richmond takes approximately 15 minutes. Taxis are queued outside the domestic and international arrival gates and are available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week. If you are arriving from an international destination or the U.S.A., the taxi departure bay is outside the building on the same level. The flat fare to the Richmond Conference Centre is $21.00 CAD, credit card or cash.

Ride App Services:

Ride App services have arrived at YVR. Lyft and Uber are both authorized providers of Ride App services at YVR. Rides to the Executive Hotel Richmond take approximately 15 minutes.

Getting Picked Up at YVR:

For the safety, security and efficiency of our operations, Ride App services at YVR are highly regulated. To ensure we deliver on our commitment to provide an exceptional airport experience for our customers, there are three pick up areas:

  • International Arrivals, Level 2
  • Domestic Arrivals, Level 2
  • South Terminal

Getting Dropped Off at YVR

Similar to public and taxi drop off, there is no designated area for Ride App services at YVR. Drivers are welcome to find space within the permitted unloading areas on the curb on level 3.

Rapid Rail – Canada Line Skytrain

Alternatively, you can take the above-ground monorail rapid rail, called the Canada Line Skytrain, from the airport into the city of Vancouver.

To make your way to the Executive Hotel Richmond, take the Skytrain to the Richmond Brighouse station. It is a 9 minute walk to the Executive Hotel Richmond from the station. You can also take a bus: #401 or #407 and get off at Westminster & Alderbridge Way, which would only take 5 minutes.

Visas And Entry Into Canada

Most people need a visa OR an Electronic Travel Authorization to travel to Canada – not both. Some people may only need their valid passport.

Parking at the Executive Hotel Richmond

Parking is complimentary for all attendees of the conference. If you have a reservation at the Executive Hotel Richmond, please speak with the front desk agent upon arrival at the property for instructions on where to park.

If you do not have a hotel reservation but are driving in for the day, please register your license plate number online by following this link for complimentary parking registration. The link will also be open on the day of the event.
